Give thanks to the Lord, for He is good,

For His steadfast love endures forever.

Give thanks to the God of Gods

Give thanks to the Lord of Lords,

For His steadfast love endures forever;

To Him who alone does great wonders,

To Him who by understanding made the heavens,

To Him who spread out the earth above the waters,

For His steadfast love endures forever;

To Him who made the great lights,

The sun to rule over the day

The moon and stars to rule over the night,

For His steadfast love endures forever;

It is He who rememered us in our low estate,

And rescued us from our foes,

For His steadfast love endures forever;

Give thanks to the God of heaven

For His steadfast love endures forever!

He (God) has founded his city on the holy mountain.

The Lord loves the gates of Zion

More than all the other dwellings of Jacob.

Glorious things are said of you, City of God.

Psalm 87:1-3 NIV

May the Lord bless you from Zion,

He who is the Maker of heaven and earth.

Psalm 134:3 NIV

The Lord reigns forever,

Your God, O Zion, for all generatios.

Praise the Lord.

Psalm 146:10 NIV

How beautiful on the mountains

Are the feet of those who bring good news,

Who proclaim peace,

Who bring good tidings

Who proclaim salvation,

Who say to Zion,

“Your God reigns!”

Isaiah 52:7 NIV

New Every Morning

Because of the Lord’s great love,

We are not consumed,

For His compassions never fail,

They are new every morning;

Great is Your faithfulness.

I say to myself, “The Lord is my portion;

Therefore, I will wait for Him.”

The Lord is good to those whose hope is in Him,

To the one who seeks Him;

It is good to wait quietly

For the salvation of the Lord.

Lamentations 3:23 NIV
